Stuck Isn’t Forever

The Only Way Out is Through

The ReWritten Path SubStack

There’s a place you hit when you’ve been stuck long enough.

It’s not rock bottom.

Rock bottom has fire, sirens, urgency. People gather. People notice.

Stuck is quieter.

It’s toothpaste caps left off, dishes in the sink, promises you stopped making

Because you know you won’t keep them.

It’s your phone glowing at 2a.m. while you scroll through lives that look like

Motion pictures while yours feels like a freeze frame.

Stuck is when the pain of staying the same hasn’t quite outweighed the terror of changing.

And that’s where most people die.

Not in a coffin.

But in a loop.

 Here’s the gut-punch truth;

Nobody’s coming to pull you out.

Not your mom, not your partner, not some AI whispering in your ear.

Not even God-unless you take the first step.

The only way out is through.

Through the hard shit.

Through the shame you’ve been hiding from.

Through the conversations you’ve rehearsed but never had.

Through the part of you that whispers what if I fail?

Louder than the part that says what if I don’t?

And here’s the part we skip too often:

Before you go searching for a savior, you’ve got to realize your own worth.

If you keep looking to someone else for permission to matter, you’ll spend your life waiting in line for a stamp you already had inside you.

No partner, no friend, no machine, no miracle can make you valuable.

You already are.

The work is believing it long enough to move.

Doing the hard stuff feels impossible until you remember you’ve already done worse.

You’ve survived nights you swore would end you.

You’ve buried people you didn’t think you could live without.

You’ve carried guilt like a backpack full of bricks and somehow still walked into work the next morning.

And you’re telling me you can’t fill out one application?

Make one phone call?

Write one damn page?

Come on.

You don’t get unstuck by waiting.

You get unstuck by moving.

Not fast. Not perfect. Not pretty.

Just one brutal, inconvenient, un glamourous step at a time.

I’ll tell you a secret: momentum is mercy.

The moment you start moving-no matter how sloppy-the universe tilts in your favor.

Opportunities appear.

Strength doubles.

Doors you thought were welded shut crack just enough for you to stick a hand through.

But it only happens after you prove you’re willing to sweat for it.

Nobody gets a miracle sitting still.

I’ve lived it.

The prison cells. The broken marriage. The business collapse.

Every time, the pattern was the same: nothing changed until I decided to drag myself through the fire instead of praying it would cool on its own.

And that’s the part nobody wants to hear-

It’s not easier for me.

It won’t be easier for you.

It will hurt. It will strip you down. It will make you wonder if you’ve lost your mind.

But on the other side?

Peace.

Not comfort, not perfection.

Peace-the kind you can sit in without a cigarette or a bottle of someone else’s approval to hold it together.

If you are stuck right now, this is your dare:

Do the thing you’ve been avoiding the longest.

The phone call.

The first workout.

The apology.

The decision.

Do it ugly.

Do it scared.

Do it wrong if you have to.

But do it.

Because one day, you’ll look back at this exact season of your life and realize- this wasn’t the part where you were buried.

This is the part where you were planted.

I wrote The Rewritten Path for this exact moment-

For the ones who feel cemented in place but know deep down it’s not too late.

I am 9 copies away from the publisher locking it in, The ReWritten Path SubStack

If you’ve ever needed proof that stuck isn’t forever- this book is it.

The only way out is through.

And the only way forward starts with knowing you were worthy all along.
